I am very excited when pass by short black cafe and saw there are selling bubble tea with plenty of flavor. I don't have to go to melbourne to have my bubble tea now. It's only $3.50 and cheaper than my coffee. I love the peach green tea and kiwi green tea. Taste amazing and refreshing. Worth to try and the coffee taste fantastic too.

Right now sipping a flat white with one sugar, it is hot and tasty. Although I didn't try any of the food on offer it all looked tempting and in the not to distant, I think I will.
The two chaps behind the counter were friendly and the coffee was produced faster than I have ever seen in this town.
This pisses me off, I was looking forward to venting.
Well done.
4 stars, less 1 for shamless self promotion. _________________ We get suicidal teens and scramble to teach them self-esteem. Well, unfortunately, self-esteem and the ability to like yourself only come after you've done something that makes you likable. You can't bullshit yourself. |

| I rate their hot chocolates (I'm not a coffee drinker) and service and food looks interesting. I like hearing that they have bubble tea now too - will have to check it out! |

Hi... I'm anthony... I'm one of the chaps behind the counter - I make the coffees.
Actually our friends started this post to generate some interest in our shop so it isn't total self promotion, although, we have created a facebook fan page though.
This is day five since we took over and we are doing our best.
Stay tuned for both a name change and a lot of new things on the menu.
Ta ^_^ |

Thanks for coming clean with the promotion trick. We do welcome owners and managers to come on and give their own opinion. Especially if they do it openly.
I will drop by for a coffee.
I must warn you though, I am a bit harder to impress than TGE. _________________ Join Eating Tassie on facebook. |

we didn't know they had posted it at first... but we are glad to have some discussion about our place... we did a huge tidy up out the back... can actually move now... ^_^
about our bubble tea... all of our stock comes from taiwan and we carefully follow the proper recipe to keep it authentic...
i will be anxious when u come in for coffee now... i'm still mastering the machine! i have however scrubbed the 'gaugeheads' ??? and now they are sparkly and brassy again. still trying to perfect the crema in the milk... working on the vortex... ^_^ |

Have wanted to try bubble tea for ages, decided to go try some. Shop was closed, but a sign on the window saying they could still make bubble tea, but only with jelly, not pearls.
Anthony (who is just lovely) opened the door for us and explained that since they are not really open that day they hadn't cooked up the pearls for the day. That was fine, I got a milk tea with coconut jelly, my partner got a lychee green tea with the jelly too. Delicious! Wonderfully refreshing! My partner was instantly hooked. Me too. I am keen to go back and try the pearl tea, and all the different flavours.
Anthony said that his intention was to slowly turn it into a asian vegetarian food place that also serves bubble tea, though said it would be a slow transition as a lot of the existing customers were partial to their bacon and eggs etc. I will be keen to try the asian vego dishes myself - bacon and eggs are aplenty - good asian food we can do with more of! |

Gone are the egg and bacon rolls which have been replaced with egg and vegie-bacon rolls.
For starters I am not a fan of fake meat and this offering did nothing nothing to sway my mind. It was all somewhat dry and also cold.
I believe that if you are looking to do a vegie breakfast then choose another path. Something like a herb omelette roll with homemade relish or poached eggs and fried mushrooms in a roll. The kind of thing to appeal to carnivores and vegetarians alike. |

| We are really sorry to hear that. Had you brought it back we would have happily refunded your money. Other customers gave us a very positive response, including meat eaters. Whatever the case, we value feedback. We do plan to sell an egg roll like you suggest. You just need to let us know when you are here so we can best accommodate your request. Anthony |

| Have had bubble tea from here a few times now and it's really good. It gives me my little dose of Melbourne. |
