I went to Piccolo last night for dinner. The food was delicious. Great service. Vegetarian dinning partner was catered for and carnivores alike. The place was full the whole time and we could only get in for an early dinner 6pm - 8pm (I booked on Wed). Highly recommended - will return |

Just wanting to add to my last post...I had gnocchi with honey glazed duck. My dining partners had a cheesy tortellini (it was divine), lamb shanks and spagattini with calamari ....we also had some sides - baked potatoes with pine nut aioli (oral joy), green beans with garlic and roast almonds, warm olives and ciabata bread.... We shared desserts - a chocolate mouse cake which was lush and a tiramisu which had too much alcohol in it for my taste! It is not cheap there ($28 - $40 for mains) but definitely worth a special night out |

| I went back to Piccolo on Friday night. This time I had blue eye that came in a bisque type dish with juicy fat prawns, mussels, olives and capers. It was devine. My partner had a pumpkin and fetta tart that melted in your mouth. For desert we shared a chocolate fondant that was oral joy....so yummy. Can't fault this place. |

went in last week balmy night and we sat on the street. It was great - I had a great steak with a side of rosemary spuds. Steak was cut into slices with fungi, onion and a lucious sauce, with a rudely good knob of garlic butter. Partner had a specail - chicken pasta, which was alos delightful but i was well inot my steak - Angus fillet, melt in the mouth style. It wasnn't BYO but the wine list did the job well enough.
service was on point - liad back and crusiy whislt beng there when required.
I liked it. Quite a bit. |
