Gregory Street pizza/burger is now Indian. Does that mean it is an extension of Spice?

To be honest, I haven't laid eyes on Spice for some time, so I just assumed it was still there on the other side....Princes St? The new gaff is called "Chillies".

I notice that the current issue of Sauce mag has a write up on the Smith Street Store - apparently under new ownership. I wonder if the service gripes that people had have disappeared?

Sounds like they make some yummy new things there - notably tiramisu, which is my favourite dessert. I think I might go try it soon. Very Happy

^ apparently they have bubble tea, too!
Ex-Praties is currently undergoing some serious renovations

Also, ex-Organic shop in North Hobart is turning into a lolly store

Edit: not a lolly store but instead "Alistair Wise and Teena Kearney's Sweet Envy patisserie"

Yep, just had a look at their menu. Somewhat odd thematically, food offerings are sandwiches, burgers and chips while they have some unusual drink offerings including the aforementioned bubble tea, sweetened carrot milk and others.

This is pretty exciting stuff. For those not in the know, Alistair is the ex dessert chef of Gordon Ramsay.
